Really? Do you doubt whether God exists? Let me try the question in a different way. When you experience the ocean, or the mountains, or the forests, or the meadows, or a newborn baby, or your lover, do you ever feel just a smidgeon of awe or gratitude? If you do, who is your gratitude or awe towards? That's God smiling at you. Say hello!
Don't let the fact that you cannot accept someone else's definition of God prevent you from experiencing God. The sages of every faith all agree that the surest thing about God is that God is beyond our comprehension. That said, every definition is suspect. Jesus said that what matters is to love God with all your heart and mind and strength. He also said God is spirit. No where does he say you have to have the right definition.
So forget about definitions. Just concentrate on experiencing. There is running rampant in the universe a definite hint of love and joy and awe. If that is God, does God exist?
Think about it!
